Tympanometry
A tympanometry test can assess the tympanic membrane and middle ear function and help to detect fluid in the ear or any kind of infection.
OAE
The primary purpose of Otoacoustic Emission (OAE) tests is to determine cochlear status, specifically hair cell function. It’s a good screening test for hearing in newborns, children, and adults.
BERA / ABR
An Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) test is safe and painless to detect possible hearing loss and provides information about how the cochlea and brain pathways for hearing are working.
ECOCHG
The Electrocochleography is an objective test measuring electrical potentials generated in the inner ear as a result of sound stimulation. Useful in diagnosing Meniere’s disease and other disorders.
VNG / ENG
Diagnostic tests to record involuntary eye movements caused by nystagmus. Also used to detect causes of vertigo, dizziness, or balance dysfunction by testing the vestibular system.
VEMP
The vestibular evoked myogenic potential is a neurophysiological assessment used to determine the function of the otolithic organs of the inner ear.
CCG
Craniocorpography (CCG) evaluates the vestibulospinal reflex, responsible for maintaining balance during gait testing.
SISI / TDT / ABLB
Special audiological tests used for differential diagnosis among various types of hearing loss, which helps in planning proper treatment.
Speech Audiometry
Speech audiometry is a fundamental tool in hearing loss assessment. Together with pure tone audiometry, it helps determine the degree and type of hearing loss.
